"Will put earnest efforts in reviving industries and small businesses in Kovai", assures MP P.R Natarajan at ICCIC felicitation event

Coimbatore : Recalling the past tenure of the newly elected MP P. R. Natarajan at a felicitation event at CODISSIA, President Lakshminarayanan of Indian Chamber of Commerce of Industry, Coimbatore Chapter (ICCIC) acclaimed that "It was during P.R. Natarajan's tenure, 11 new trains for Coimbatore, infrastructural development at Coimbatore railway station and stoppages at Podanur junction for boarding trains from Kerala were introduced."

Over 50 industrial and small business owners participated in the event organised by ICCIC to felicitate MP P.R Natarajan on Wednesday here.



Welcoming him to this new tenure, the President of ICCIC opined that "P.R Natarajan fully understands the plea of the industries and MSMEs to revoke GST for job orders and manufactured products."

The office bearers of ICCIC handed over a joint petition stressing on the development of the city to the newly elected MP P.R Natarajan.

In his acceptance speech, MP P.R Natarajan affirmed that his party fully understands the shortcomings of GST and it's impact on small scale businesses. 



He added that "Only by saving businesses, progress can be attained. I will earnestly strive to revive the Industries of this city which inturn will drive towards development."

The MP also notified that he has already made efforts to consult the respective authorities for accomplishing the list g term demand of a night train between Coimbatore to Bangalore, Coimbatore-Madurai and a 3rd platform in Coimbatore railway station. 

He re-assured to work towards the progress of the city by working in hand with the industrialists and people. The MP also added that he will represent the respective Ministry in the centre to implement path-breaking projects like metro rail, airport expansion among others.
